The Role

We are looking for an Application Support and Survey Administrator to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with survey management skills to ensure smooth operations and effective data collection.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support

  • Technical Assistance: Provide prompt technical support to end-users, addressing application-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose software problems, log and track support requests, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT and development teams to resolve technical issues, implement updates, and perform system upgrades.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for application support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolutions.
  • Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify and address potential problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • User Training: Assist in training users on application functionality, best practices, and usage guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance of new software releases, patches, and updates.

Survey Management

  • Survey Creation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather survey requirements and tailor surveys to specific research goals.
  • Advanced Features: Implement survey logic, branching, and advanced features to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation related to survey design, development, and best practices.
  • User Support: Train and support end-users in survey creation and administration within the Qualtrics platform.

Technical Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Web Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Database Management: Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
  • Application Management: Proven experience in application management or related IT roles.
  • Troubleshooting: In-depth knowledge of application deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Programming: Familiarity with various programming languages, databases, and application frameworks.
  • Data Analysis: Knowledge of data analysis concepts, APIs, and SQL tools is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams.
  • Multitasking: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
