Position: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Travel: Minimal
Role Overview: You will be responsible for segments of test planning, design, and execution. This includes meeting planned scope and schedule, maintaining engagement with clients and internal customers, and providing recommendations for issue resolution, system optimization, and test efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Test and certify end-to-end applications, including backend and frontend.
- Demonstrate features regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and maintain an automation suite using established frameworks.
- Improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for overall and automation coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external testing teams for third-party integration tests.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Automation using ReadyAPI (SOAPUI Pro) and POSTMAN.
- Experience with Selenium or Appium using Java, JMeter/Tsung, TestNG, and related development tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Groovy, Shell Script, Python.
- Knowledge of Git.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform test execution activities, including the implementation of test automation procedures and scripts.
- Prioritize testing activities and ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios based on the test plan and concurrent testing observations.
- Analyze system behavior and provide recommendations for issue resolution and system optimization.
- Define and execute test plans, scope, and required resources, designing test solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Maintain and enhance professional and business relationships with customers and internal partners, acting as a technical interface.
- Mentor new team members, leverage knowledge across test implementations and projects, and define best practices for testing tools.
- Support and promote test efficiency and optimization initiatives.
- Ensure the highest quality of product documentation, test ware, and work products for traceability, correctness, and compliance.
