With the impending release of the Moto G04s, Motorola is getting ready to introduce its more affordable G series to the Indian market. The device’s May 30th debut date is hinted at on a special promo website that e-commerce behemoth Flipkart revealed.

Although the Indian version’s exact specs are still unknown, the Flipkart listing verifies a few important aspects. The Unisoc T606 SoC, which powers the Moto G04s, will run an almost stock version of Android 14 and come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It’s unclear if Motorola would provide several memory options for the Indian market.

The tablet has a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD on the front, protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and a smooth refresh rate of 90 Hz. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a punchhole in the center. A 50MP primary camera on the back is visible when the device is flipped to reveal strong photographic capabilities.

Other noteworthy features that Flipkart has emphasized are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for safe unlocking, a 3.5mm headphone port for wired audio enthusiasts, and Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive sound experience. A 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging capabilities will power the Moto G04s.

Motorola plans to release the Moto G04s in a wide choice of colors, including orange, green, blue, and black. Details about the price, though, are still confidential. With its aggressive pricing strategy and competitive features, the Moto G04s is expected to be a strong competitor in India’s highly competitive budget smartphone market.
